About Me
- ncouragingminds~
- Hello welcome to ncouraging minds my name is Tarsha. I am passionate about early intervention, parent education, and providers/teachers who serve young children. I enjoying conducting educational seminars and helping participants gain new knowledge. Most importantly I gain the most satisfaction from "light bulb" moments that participants have in my seminars. Being a lifelong learner and seeking opportunities to grow and develop have become dear to me. I enjoy quiet time, beaches, and time with loved ones. I am the proud mother of two children, and wife of my college sweetheart.
Thank you for this impressive video clip, it shows how tough and hard life is in Africa. Support is really needed in these areas, they need support in nutrition, health care, a vaccinations, and parental support to reduce the deaths rate and the quality of their life.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for sharing
What a touching video clip! It is heart breaking that children around the world are still facing extreme hunger. There is such a need there!
ReplyDeleteI will have to look into the website and organization! Thanks!!

I will show this clip to my own teenage boys who become upset when there "is nothing to eat afterschool", which actually means that there are no potato chips, granola bars, Doritos or other junk food that they would prefer to eat afterschool. Perhaps this will give them some perspective. The children in the video would be grateful for fruits, vegetables. breads, pretzels and popcorn that are available for afterschool snacks at my house.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a wonderful and worthwhile mission. This is a good reminder for those of us who have the basics: food, shelter, and potable water; that gadgets such as cell phones and iPods are not essential for life.
Thank you so much for posting a video as well as your thoughts. I think it's so important for the youth of America to see what children in other countries have to go through to get food. I think just as CareyAnn says, the children should have reminders that they don't NEED cell phones and ipods, ipads, etc. Other children NEED food. Great post! Again, sweet Video!
